They were jackhammering the floor above our stateroom, the noise was unbearable, this went on during the day and night. We only had limited access to the ship because areas were shut down for construction, there was a lot of dust in the air, and we didn’t know what we were breathing.

The emergency evacuation areas we were instructed to meet at were shut down for most of the cruise, and we weren’t given any alternative sights. Work crews had protection masks and we were totally exposed to the dust and fumes. We complained about the situation and were told nothing could be done because it was a decision made by head office.

The hallways were full of workers on ladders running wires in the ceilings. It was totally unexceptional and really put us at risk.

Why in the name of all that is sane did you not document the heck out of this and demand your money back (with implications of damages if you get jerked around) ?
